WHO WE ARE

Our Story

STORY

OUR

Metro North Church began in 1989 when Tom Wood arrived just three weeks before Hurricane Hugo ravaged the area.

Metro North’s vision was to create a new church that would connect people to the transforming grace of God.  That vision best sums up our past, present, and future.

Our church held its first worship service in April of 1990 in Goose Creek and in May of 1995, after purchasing 21 acres of land in Goose Creek, the congregation voted to build its first facility.

This multi-functional building was designed to not only serve the needs of the church, but also, in harmony with our mission statement, help serve our community. With the building completed, the congregation held a dedication service on August 11, 1996.

Fueled by God's grace, our renewed commitment continues to motivate us to plant churches and display God's grace in our community and around the world.

Would you consider connecting your story with ours, experiencing God’s grace for His glory?
