The Women’s Fall Retreat for 2026 will be in Hilton Head, September 11 - 13 . We have reserved an AirB&B with a pool and next to the beach. Bring your swimsuit! There is also an elevator. Our guest speaker will be Carolyn Roman.

For five weeks will be dig deeper into Is God Enough For Me. This study is designed to help Christians find complete satisfaction in Jesus rather than worldly pursuits, comparison, or temporary fixed.

Connect is a 2 session class to learn more about Metro North. Our next class will be Sunday, October 4 & concludes October 13, at 9:00am. Childcare is available with pre-registration.
SLAM ThanksGivhans Camping Trip
SLAM will be going to Givhans Ferry Park for their Fall Retreat. We will enjoy time together and with God under the stars. The cost is $75/person due by Oct 1. This is payable at registration or at MNC.

Trunk or Treat
Come Trunk or Treat with us! Trunks will be decorated for trick or treaters so join the fun from, 5:30-7:00pm.
We’d love to create a fun evening for local kids, but we need you… and your car or truck. We need at least 20 vehicles to be decorated. Arrive to decorate vehicles by 4:30pm. Email Amy King or note on your Connect Card to sign up for a spot!

Thanksgiving Feast
Thanksgiving Feast - Sunday, Nov 22 at 5:30pm. Metro North will provide the meat (turkey & ham), eating utensils, paper ware, and drinks.
Families with names:
A-K bring 2 side dishes (potatoes, veggies, stuffing, salad, etc)
L-Z bring 1 side dish & 1 dessert. Remember to bring enough for your family plus extra to share.

Christmas Eve Service
Join us to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 24 at 6:00pm. All are invited. There is no childcare for this service, so that our volunteers may be with their families.

Summer SLAM invites everyone to join them at Folly Beach on Saturday, August 8, 9:00am-noon.
Officer Nomination
We invite MNC members to nominate a man to become an Elder or Deacon for the coming year. Nominations will end August 31.
Elders are responsible for shepherding, ruling, counseling, and teaching.
Deacons are responsible for finances, facilities, caring for the needy.
We have taken the qualities found in 1 Timothy & Titus 1 and formulated a questionnaire which we believe will accurately reveal how a man measures up to these standards. Please complete the reference form to the extent of your knowledge of the nominee.

TVR
Our Student Ministry is planning to attend TVR (Teen Valley Ranch) in NC July 20-25, 2026. Total cost per person is $525. A $50 deposit is due by March 31. There will be a Parent Meeting May 17 at 12:00pm. Please plan to attend with all your student’s paperwork. All money is due by June 30.
Please bring the forms below to the Parent Meeting on May 17. Please complete them prior to the Parent Meeting. If you need financial assistance, please note on the on-line sign up form.
Boulder Bluff Elementary Teacher Supply Collection
We are collecting supplies though Aug 5 for teachers of BBE. These are items teachers buy with their own funds to support their classrooms. You may also order via our Amazon wish list.

Summer SLAM Ice Skating
Summer SLAM will cool off ice skating at Carolina Ice Palace. We will meet there and skate during “open skate” from 1:15-3:15pm. Bring money to skate ($14/person) and for snacks. Remember to wear long pants!

Illumination Station VBS
Kids age 4 (potty trained) through rising 5th graders are invited to join us for Illumination Station VBS!
This will be the brightest week of the year! While many people claim to know about Jesus, many are in the dark about who He really is. We will explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals.

Spring Picnic
MNC's Spring Picnic will be Sunday, May 17 at 5:30pm. Kick off summer with our church picnic. The church will provide hamburgers and hot dogs, you provide the sides. If your last name begins with...
*A - M bring 1 dessert and 1 side.
*N - Z bring 2 sides (potato salad, fruit salad, pasta salad, mac & cheese, chips, cole slaw, etc.)
Bring your lawn chairs or blankets, and yard games. Don’t forget bug spray!

Enjoy brunch at the Kath Home in Moncks Corner, Saturday, May 16 at 10:00am. Sign up to attend and bring an item at the back table.
Prayer Walk
Join us Thursday, May 7 at 6:00pm to pray as we walk through our building and lift up specific prayers for ministry in each area.
Boulder Bluff Elementary Breakfast
We are accepting donations of pre-packaged breakfast items (cinnamon rolls, breakfast bars, muffins, etc.) through May 3 to encourage the BBE Staff with a quick breakfast. Breakfast items will be delivered Wednesday, May 6. We’ll meet at MNC at 6:15am to deliver and set up.
BBQ Fundraiser
Support our students go to Summer camp by buying a BBQ plate to go!
Each plate includes baked beans, coleslaw, a roll, and your choice of pork or chicken. All plates are $10. Tickets must be purchased in advance. See any SLAM member for your ticket.
Meals should be picked up Saturday, May 2 between 3:00-5:00pm.

Maundy Thursday
Maundy Thursday Service will be observed April 2 at 7:00pm to reflect on Christ’s suffering. Childcare is not offered for this service time.
SLAM Bowling
Meet at MNC at 5:30pm. We’ll walk to the bowling alley across the street. Don’t forget to bring a friend! Also bring money to snacks and bowling!
